- Fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for an experienced Financial and Administration Manager required for Care Home in Whalley Range.

· Main duties
· To assist the Directorate in the implementation of all Company policies and procedures.
· Develop, implement and evaluate management support strategies.
· Assist the Proprietor in the effective recruitment and selection process for staff
· Advise the Proprietor of future administrative, computer and training needs for Head Office Administration functions.
· Implement and monitor effective communication throughout the Company.
· Assist the Proprietor with the development of new projects and the expansion of the Company.
· To ensure confidentiality of corporate information.
· To ensure the smooth operation of head office administration and finance departments
· To assist and support management and staff on administrative issues
· To assist and advise management on personnel issues
· To apply the disciplinary rules as laid down and to implement the disciplinary procedures.
· To maintain personnel records and to follow up all staff references.
· To comply with regulations and procedures regarding personnel management as specified in manuals supplied by Peninsula Business Services Limited and keep records as required.
· To interview new staff for office and administration functions and to follow up references.
· To attend staff meetings where appropriate.
· To set up and control DLA accounting information.
· To participate in the development of activities for residents utilising DLA funds.
· To be responsible for computer technology within the Company and to provide training, as and when necessary, to operators.
· To assist the Proprietor, as deemed necessary, in all areas of the Company’s operations
· To comply with regulations laid down in the Residential Homes Act 1984 and by the local registering authority.
· To attend to all matters pertaining to the home arriving through the post and all other general office duties.
· To be responsible principally for dealing with residents and residents' relations regarding enquiries about financial matters.
· To be familiar with regulations and procedures required in the execution of the above duties.- To undertake other duties as necessary.
