Our client, one of the UK's premier health and beauty Distributor's is looking for
Charismatic Assistant Buyer to join their very busy team.

The Company:
Operating in the health and beauty sector, our client has a list of prestigious
clients. The company has experienced rapid growth since its inception and
plans to grow its revenues to £75m over the next 3 years. With over 600
prestigious brands across a wide range of product the company's on the cusp
of a new era of growth.

Key Objectives:

· Maximise margin & sales through analytical assessment of stock
holding and sell through.
· Compile regular Key Performance Indicators for sell thru', stock
holding, margins, top selling lines, etc.
· Ensure stock levels are maintained above 95% availability.
· Maximise sell through by regular analysis of sales by brand lines and
sales performance by line.
· Compile forecast of key selling lines and ensure "in-stock" levels by
brands meet sales forecast and sell through rates.
· Review product range regularly and recommend special purchases
to increase overall sales performance.
· Develop a regular pre-sell product range by reviewing offers from
suppliers.
· Ensure suppliers meet delivery requirements and work closely with
transport department to ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules for customers.
· Ensure that the sales and purchase process is adhered to and work
closely with accounts department in order to complete purchase and sales
transactions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Role reports to the Trading Director.
· Produce regular Buying Plans and provide summary analysis for
purchase decisions.
· Place purchases orders with suppliers and ensure all item are
supplied, especially promotional items.
· Understand items that are short & why and work to replenish stock
using forecasting were possible.
· Produce monthly forecasts by product line after understanding sell
thru' and stock holding.
· Monitor suppliers pricing on top 200 sellers and flag up good buys.
· Calculate margins per fragrance item and understand stock levels
before seeking approval for purchases.
· Review sales plans and provide buy plans for purchase decisions.
· Raise purchase order and check invoices to ensure suppliers deliver
the correct stock level and check prices agreed.
· Chase suppliers regularly to ensure stock deliveries meet customer
deadlines.
· Raise sales order for sign off and chase warehouse department for
completed orders and raise appropriate invoices.
· Understand the buying and selling process to ensure transactions are
completed prior to submission to the accounting department.
