Timesheets
Some important facts:
- Timesheets must be fully completed and signed by the client and yourself before you leave work each week
- Please ensure that in the total hours box you have deducted your lunch break so the total hours is exactly what you have worked
- The deadline for timesheets to arrive at NES Recruitment for payroll is 10.00am Monday for payment that week
- It is always advisable if you are faxing your timesheet to NES Recruitment to ring and check that we have received it, the number to call is 0161 283 0007 (Payroll Department)
- If you do not have a timesheet please call the payroll department and one can be faxed to your place of work straight away or print one off from our Useful Downloads section on our website.
Processing Your Wages
NES Recruitment require the following information to process your wages into your bank account:
- Bank details this includes the name and address of your bank, sort code, account number and account name
- National Insurance Number
Without all this information NES Recruitment are unable to process your wages as we pay wages straight into your bank account by BACS
N.B. If you do not have your own bank account we can make payment of wages into another persons account for you but we must have written permission from yourself first telling us to do so along with all the relevant banking information as stated above.
Holiday Pay
All temporary workers are entitled to paid annual leave. The maximum for a full year (52 weeks) is 20 days.
Taking a holiday:
- If you are unsure of how much holiday entitlement you have accrued please call our payroll department on 0161 283 0007 and they will tell you how much entitlement you have and what the procedure is.
- When booking holidays, you are required to give twice the notice, ie: if you wish to take 1 day annual leave we require 2 days notice, if you wish to take 2 weeks annual leave we would require 4 weeks notice.
- A Temporary Workers Holiday Request Form must be fully completed in order for your holiday pay to be processed. These forms are available from the payroll department please call and we can email, fax or post one to you.
- The completed holiday forms then need to be sent back to NES Recruitments payroll department for processing. Holiday Request Forms can be obtained from the Useful Downloads section.
Bank Holidays
Bank Holidays are not paid holidays unless you request them paid from any holiday pay entitlement that you may have accrued again you will require a Temporary Workers Holiday Request Form.
Tax Forms
- P45 If you have a current P45 from your previous employer please send this to us as soon as you start temping for NES Recruitment. It provides us with your correct tax coding for payroll purposes.
What To Do If You Don't Have A P45
- If you dont have a current P45 please tell us as soon as possible, we can then provide you with a P46 Form to sign
Students
- If you are a student and are working in holiday time only you will be asked to sign a P38 (Student Declaration Form)
